Same battery, different pod
The important thing first: both pods click into the same IGET Bar Plus battery. If you already own the device, you can run either. Nothing about the hardware changes — you are choosing how long each pod lasts and what it costs.
The headline difference is run time
The original Bar Plus pod is rated at roughly 6000 puffs. The S3 pod is rated at around 10,000 — close to double. In day-to-day terms that means swapping pods roughly half as often.
For someone getting through a pod a week, that is the difference between four pod changes a month and two. It also means fewer reorders and less chance of running out at an inconvenient moment.
Cost per puff, not cost per pod
An S3 pod costs more than a 6000 pod. The question that matters is what each costs per puff, and that is the calculation worth doing with current prices on the S3 collection and the 6000 collection, since both move.
Divide the pod price by its puff rating for each. The result is usually close enough that run time and convenience matter more than the few cents between them. Where the gap widens is on multi-packs — buying either in a box lowers the per-pod cost meaningfully.
Flavour range
The two ranges do not carry identical flavour lists. Some profiles exist in the 6000 range and have not been released as S3 pods, and the reverse is true too. If you have a flavour you will not compromise on, check it is available in the format you want before you commit to one or the other.
Which should you buy?
If you vape steadily and value not thinking about it, the S3 is the straightforward pick — fewer swaps for a modest price increase. If you rotate flavours often, the 6000 pods let you change taste more frequently without leaving half a pod unused, and the wider flavour list helps.
