Privacy policy

What we collect

Only what an order needs: your name, email, mobile number and delivery address, plus your age confirmation. If we request photo ID for age verification, we check it and delete the copy — we do not retain ID documents.

What we don't collect

No card numbers. Payment is by PayID or bank transfer, so card data never touches this site. Your cart is stored in your own browser's local storage, not on our servers, and clearing your browser data clears it.

Why we hold it

To process and dispatch your order, to give the carrier a delivery address, to verify age as the law requires, and to answer you if you contact us. If you opt in to the newsletter we also use your email for that — every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

The carrier delivering your parcel, and our email provider. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We disclose information to law enforcement or a regulator only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Order records for seven years, as Australian tax law requires. Newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. ID images are not retained past verification.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we aren't legally required to keep. Email orders@igetpodsaus.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you aren't satisfied you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Cookies and tracking

This site uses your browser's local storage for two things: your cart and your age confirmation. Both stay on your device. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but because we never handle card data, the most sensitive information a breach could expose is a name and address.
