IGET Flavour Guide: Every Profile Explained

Flavour names tell you less than you would hope. Here is what the main families actually taste like.

Ice and menthol

Anything with "ice" in the name has a cooling agent added on top of the base flavour. It is not a flavour in itself so much as a finish — a cold sensation on the exhale that makes fruit profiles read as sharper and cleaner.

If you find plain menthol too aggressive, a fruit-ice combination usually gives you the crispness without the full blast. If you dislike cooling entirely, look for flavours without "ice" or "cool" in the name, though they are a smaller part of the range.

Berry

The largest family and the safest starting point. Blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, cherry and blackcurrant, usually blended rather than solo. Berry blends are forgiving — they tend to taste like what they claim, and they suit all-day use without becoming tiring.

Cherry Pomegranate is consistently the most-requested single flavour we stock, which tells you something about how well this family performs.

Tropical and melon

Mango, passionfruit, pineapple, lychee, guava, watermelon, peach. Sweeter and rounder than berry, often with a slightly thicker mouthfeel. Watermelon and mango in particular are reliable crowd pleasers.

Worth knowing: tropical profiles are the ones most affected by heat. Left in a hot car they dull faster than ice or berry.

Citrus

Lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit. The sharpest family and the most polarising. Citrus reads as clean and refreshing to some people and as thin or sour to others. Almost always paired with ice, which suits it.

If you are unsure, try citrus in a small device before buying it at 10,000 puffs.

Dessert and sweets

Gummy, bubblegum, custard, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, yoghurt. Rich and sweet, and the family most likely to become cloying over a full device. Excellent as a change of pace, harder to sustain all day.

Black Forest — dark cherry with a soft chocolate note — is the one that most often converts people who thought they did not like dessert flavours.

Drinks and cola

Cola, energy drink, lemonade, coffee. A small family and the most hit-or-miss, because everyone arrives with a fixed idea of what the drink tastes like. Cola and energy are the most successful; coffee is the most divisive.

How to actually choose

Two practical rules. First, buy small before you buy big — the smaller devices exist for exactly this. Second, if a flavour works for you, buy it again in volume rather than gambling on something new every time; availability moves, and the flavour you like today may not be listed next month.

You can filter by flavour profile on any collection page, or browse the full range and use the search box for a specific one.
